Do you know Jesus?

You may have heard of Jesus through social media, television, friends or family. You may have even grown up hearing stories of Him and going to Sunday School. But do you really know Him personally? If not, why not? It is the most important and rewarding relationship you will ever have.

• “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God;” (Rom. 3:23). We are all sinners, and that sin is what keeps us from God. Sin is any act contrary to God’s law.

• “For the wages of sin is death, …” (Rom. 6:23a). Our sin has a penalty, and that penalty is death. That death is a spiritual death, eternal separation from God in a very real place called Hell.

• “BUT the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23b). But it doesn’t stop there! God shows his unending love toward us by sending His Son Jesus to die in our place. “But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom. 5:8).

• “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Rom. 10:13). This incredible gift of eternal life is yours for the taking! The only thing you must do to have a relationship with the Loving Father is to pray and accept the free gift of salvation that His Son paid for.
